Meet Stephen
I am Stephen McPhatter, the proud owner of Emerald Painting Inc.. I represent the seventh generation of painting contractors in our family legacy.
Learning the business hands-on from my late father, who taught me the principles of being an outstanding business owner, an excellent painter, and a truly humble individual, I have served hundreds of commercial and residential clients throughout my career. With over 20 years of painting experience as an entrepreneur, I expanded my expertise by working with a painting franchise as Operations Manager, where I mastered the art of managing multiple projects on scheduled timelines. Those challenges pushed me to grow my skill set in business operations.
When COVID-19 brought everything to a halt in 2020, I demonstrated resilience by navigating those uncertain months and ultimately reopening my own painting company. Establishing a business during the shutdown wasn't easy โ it required tremendous determination and showed me how to adapt our work ethic and safety measures while serving our clients.
As my business evolved, I realized the original name didn't reflect my vision. As a Christian and guided by my discernment, I felt compelled to start anew with a fresh name, branding, and marketing approach, embracing this new challenge with Emerald Painting Inc..
